right im in process of buying back all my old sub and amp set-up. now i want to know weather the original headunit out of my fabia has the pre-outs and the remote wire for the wiring kit

It does, but it's a funny connector. IIRC, there are three connectors that can link together, a red, a blue and a yellow one (might be wrong on the colours!). One provides line in from the cd changer and has pre-outs.

you can find the leads in the blue spot store on line or any blaupunkt dealer can get them. they are only a few quid
