Hello from a newbie

Never thought I would see the day when I would be driving a Skoda but here it is picked up new brand new Octavia vRS TDi Estate yesterday and I must say I am more than impressed with the car. It is a bit of a culture shock having owned a Subaru Forester but I'm here now and getting on with it.

Welcome :)

I am getting on a bit in years and I well remember all the jokes about Skoda's back in the 70's and their, deserved, poor reputation.

It took a lot to ignore the badge, I think you will find especially among older drivers this is the biggest stumbling block to buying what I now realise is an excellent car. Should have bought it before I bought the Subaru.
