I have had a string of Fords, latterly a Focus TDCi, which I had for 5 years and loved apart from wishing it was automatic, I spotted a mint 57 plate Superb 2.5 TDi Auto, low mileage and too good to miss. I love it, although the economy is nowhere near the Focus - not to mention the Road Fund Licence (ouch!). However, the kids have left home and so why not indulge ourselves, we said. So far no wet patches inside, but the reverse sensors do not work. I got a local garage to plug his laptop in for free and it diagnosed one of the sensors defunct, as expected. However, I still have 6 months manufacturer's warranty and the main dealer has agreed to look at it and do it under warranty. Given the ridiculous cost of a single sensor, that is quite a relief. Not bad as I did not buy it from them.
