I also ordered a Octavia Scout same time as you, I was told 2-3 weeks after build to delivery, dependant on ship availability, and which port it comes into. Also said past experience usually was early rather than late in the build date. Here is hoping !!!

Week 15 is week beginning Sunday 11th April 2010, day 1 is sunday, if 7 day production is taking place, and it is about 2 - 3 weeks after, when car is with dealer.

im apparently build week 16 for my octy 2.0tdi elegance

Since you are in Cumbria and I am in Inverness, and same build week 15 , our cars will probably be on thr same ship to Newcastle.It will be interesting to compare notes on shipment and arrival dates.

Mine is apparently build week 16, ordered 17 Feb - I think that is mid April. Hopefully it will be with me early May. As I am picking up from Hotons Skoda in Lincoln, I assume it will come into Grimsby/Immingham?

will be looking a few weeks after the build date till u can take delivery. the car will probably take a matter of hours to build but its all the shipment, delivery and pdi's and valeting etc that take the time. just keep on their cases so they dont get too relaxed with delivery dates!!

I'm build week 15 as well. Buying through the hamilton dealer so should be on the same boat as BobW and davydoo

The wait's not been as bad as i thought, still wish it was here already tho

My build is currently penciled in for week 21. Ordered last Monday

Found out today i am also build week 16, for my octy elegance, minus folding door mirrors , never mind ,not the end of the world. told delivery could be early may, can`t wait.

i dont mind if i miss out on the folding mirrors but i still want the compensation i was sold is at included

hi bob been told today it should arrive at dealer at carlisle on 23/04/10 keep my fingers crossed

Is that a new factory build? ie not one that takes a build slot that already existed?

I ordered mine 12th Feb and havent heard a thing!

Mate I don't know, never asked. Salesman called me to say he had provisional confirmation of delivery for 7th May. Maybe I have taken a cancelled slot? Are you waiting for a vrs?

Yeah it's a VRS I have on order, It's only been 5 weeks ish since I ordered so I should be more patient I guess.

I'll give another couple of weeks then ask if I have a confirmed build date.

At time of order I was told not to expect the car before May, but if your dates are accurate then it might be sooner, fingers crossed!

How did you get a delivery date if it it is not built yet.

My dealer said they could not get any idea until it left the production line, and was in Enden waiting for ship to UK.

May be I am getting a bit of flanel from my dealer!! I will give him a call to get update.

Just called my dealer - Derek Slack in Middlesbrough - my car is built and sat at the docks in Germany.

Ordered a 2.0 Tdi Scout on 15/1/10 and was told several weeks ago that it should be built on 19/3.

About 3 weeks to go I suspect.

Did you go through local dealer or DTD?

I got it from my local dealer as they were very close to the DtD price.

Just wish the time would pass quicker, it's not easy having to manage without a car!
