Hoping you guys can be of help...

people say 40mpg is obtainable from the petrol, is this realistic?

also, if not driving like a pansy, what do they usually pull mpg wise?

also, anyone selling one? haha

Cheers

You can get 40+ mpg but will you want to?

40+ is possible but so is a manned landing on Pluto. Possible but not likely.

I can get up to 37mpg on my 15 mile commute to work, but that is on a busy single carriageway road so that's 60ish at best and no stop starting.

If you are driving through a town with lots of lights you probably looking at 28mpg.

My long term average right now is about 33mpg.

And you need to use Super Unleaded. The newest engines might be a bit better on normal 95RON.

first 3k miles in mine, average 31mpg.

Only once have I got close to 40mpg in mine. Driving from near Lincoln to Norwich in a queue of traffic at a steady 50mph and decided to have a go at an economy run. Trip computer was showing exactly 40mpg as I turned off the main road, but dropped to 39.9 getting over the speed hump between the main road and home!
