Agree not a lover of the "bra" on anything........ :giggle:

Top work on the wheels mate! Thinking about getting mine done black too.

As stated great job on those wheels.

What prep work / primer did you do. finnish is very good.

Did you lacquer them too?

Does the bra just sit there on the bonnet permanently? Does it roll back over the bonnet? It looks weird

I'm confused :S

Honestly not a fan of the bra but i suppose they are a love it or hate it thing. Rest of the car looks good tho mate.

Furry - How hard is it to enlarge and mesh the centre section of your bumper? Did you just cut out the part the number plate normally fixes to?

No the bra doesn't do it for me nor do black wheels. The car as standard - silver and silver wheels is the business.

I like both Silver and black. Not so keen on the bra though.

That black paintwork on the car looks incredible. What did you use?

bra dont look right on a silver car and i wouldnt run it all the time as it will cloud the paint work

wont be used all the time and you only want it westallc  my other wheel ops where new rs4

hi guys, thanks for the comments, the wheels where scotched up then filler primered to lose any minor blemishes.

whilst painting i had a hair dryer mounted to the roof of the garage to keep temps up.

2 coats per wheel then laquered.

biggest part about painting is having patients!! make sure you get good coverage and keep it wet looking for a mirror like finish.

the front bumper took me about 4 hours in total with curing time for the bonding on the mesh, followed the guide on here.

if your real carefull no repainting of the bumper is required!!!

more images of the them all done

When the Briskoda site got a make over i had to re post a lot of guides as there links got broken so you should see the pics fom page 6.

Bra is pointless as it doesn't cover the front bumper, the most likely place to be pebble dashed. Really not a good look IMO.

Other than that, tidy looking motor
