Big thanks to Ben again!

Featured Replies

Well I say again as late last year I purchased a Stage 1 map and STS unit which I have been very impressed with, review is here.

This time I was staying in Aysgarth, Yorkshire for the week and I'd been after the OEM Bluetooth for a while since Skoda UK don't supply non DSG VRS's with this option.

Few e-mails were exchanged and I agreed to travel down to Mansfield from Yorkshire for Ben to carry out the work.

Arrived almost at the agreed time, Ben gave me a SWMBO a lift into town for the shops and 2 hours later work was all done and I was able to pick up the car, even got a couple of stickers as well  .

Bluetooth is now up and running perfectly, works with my iPhone no problem and syncs contacts etc. Integration with the Bolero is excellent as well.

Another job completed successfully, Ben is defiantly recommended by me for remaps or any other work required.

Hope you enjoy Edinburgh when you make it up here Ben!

Just to prove I really was there:

Thanks Stuart, it was good to meet you :)

Sounds good!

How much do you charge to install bluetooth to the OEM stereo Ben?

Cheers

George

OEM bluetooth is £350 installed which gives you Bolero/Columbus and Maxidot integration :)

Arghhh! Not sure what that means? Are you saying the upgrade is the back bone for the maxidot and satnav? Does the Columbus not work with bluetooth handsfree out of the box?

How much is the maxidot retrofit? Although I'm still not 100% sure what it does... lol

I am after the cruise control as well. I see on your stie you offer that from £95 supplied and fitted?
