What did you/are you trading in for your Yeti?

Featured Replies

Since I'm just about to order a Yeti I was wondering what other people traded in to get their Yetis and what other cars they considered before opting for a Yeti.

Ok I will replace Jeep Patriot with that. I've ANYONE considered a Patriot, then well my prayers are with you.

Need more than prayers for a Patriot!!!

I also considered the Kia Sportage as well as the Freelander 2..

Currently we are about 75% sure on the Yeti.

OK since the Audi is not out yet and is a MINI competitor (and has no votes} I'll replace that with the Sportage and do the same with the Saab 93X for the Freelander.

You've now got the Freelander twice in the bottom voting section!!

The 'new' shape Berlingo looks bloated compared to the original shape, so I considered the Qashqai for a while

Haha, I enjoyed that!

Actually this is pretty helpful for me to see what cars our customers are coming from.

Ok since no one had considered the Skoda Roomster Scout or Saab 93X (or have thus far voted for them) I changed them to the other two cars mentioned, the Berlingo Multispace and the Suzuki SX4.

Thanks 900000, I've changed my vote to include the Berlingo .. .. .. emoticon-0148-yes.gif

A Nissan X-Trail. A very comparable car on paper but thirsty and does not handle as well as the Yeti. It does have a much bigger boot space!

And another one the newbies might not have seen or voted in... emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

Also considered a Mitsubishi Shogun 3 dr. Great looking vehicle and just about the right format in exterior/interior. Trouble was, roadgoing performance and handling is pretty naff.

I'm seriously considering a Yeti Elegance to replace my Octavia - but if VAG don't get their act together and let Skoda offer DAB tuners and panoramic sunroofs then I'll spend my money on a car with these options. And it won't be a VAG car either!

With the profit margins on options it's about time they started meeting their customer expectations. VW cars are even worse - you can't get Xenon lights on a Golf unless you buy the GTI!!

I agree with CJJE a DAB tuner would have been a really usefull addition.

Sad thing is the VW 510 radio - which is called a Bolero by Skoda - has a DAB version. So it is VERY easy for SUK to add this as an option. But since they don't want to even add MDI, I very much doubt they will add DAB as it seems audio acronymns and their use really confuse them.

Kitten left yer little Yaris and the 1st part of the deposit for our SM, and my Honda Accord Tourer will be the 2nd part and will be left at the dealers on exchange day

I could have bought the Octavia Scout. What I'd been missing in flexibility, I'd been gettting in boot space. But here in Turkey xenons are not available for it -they are in the trim for the Yeti Experience-. And in midwinter at 16hrs is pitch black!

In the other hand, the TDI140 is the old version in the Scout, not the common rail. Two big poins for the Yeti (which I was preferring anyways!!).
