I was just surfing around various VAG related sights today and noticed that MTM have added the 1.2TSI Yeti to their remap list. Pretty expensive though @ 1200 euros!...... however they are claiming 140hp and 220Nm of torque! Wonder when some of the british based tuners will start to offer remaps on the 1.2? As far as I have seen the only companies that are doing the 1.2 are Abt and MTM.

1.4 tsi 122 - -142 bhp, 148 - 228 lb ft

Cost me £360 on my 1.2, but less if you know another Yeti owner & have both done together. They come to your home or work place.

I was well pleased with the result.

Personally Id take Celtics figures with a pinch of salt (and Im talking from personal experience) - also most of the standard 1.2's come from the factory with nearer 120bhp anyway so not such a big gain. Also, as mentioned in the other post, not only is almost 230lb/ft torque out of the 1.4 almost unbelievable, id say its certainly not going to be to easy on that small turbo achieving it! Shark dont even claim that for the IHI turbo'd 1.8 TSi stage 1 remap!!
