Unsure if it works well with the radio as i live were i dont get radio reception so until i go out tonight i wont know, so i will update with this info later

Good lad! I look forward to your review later on!

Tidy. If you have issues with radio reception you can pick up a signal booster from a local car audio place for around an Ayrton IIRC

I like that alot. Shocked!

tbf i dont listen to the radio since fitting my double din with sd card reader i just update that every few days, but i was just gonna check the radio for those wanting to know

Yeh I like that too. It seems to marry to the base better than the s2k one. :-)

Yeah i'd like to know if it works well with the radio!

Yep...radio reception would be my main concern !!

Also, i had a go at yanking out the standard aerial but i gave up when it wouldnt budge. How much force does the bloomin thing need to free it from its anti theft barb ????

Chris.

Alot! Keep at it though, might feel like your going to lift the car - but i promise you wont! ;) Comes away eventually and you feel bloody great about yourself afterwards!

Fitted one to Mine Yesterday & Radio Reception does suffer slightly, Drops out in area's where it was previously Ok.. But when you think about it, being smaller it is bound to have an effect, As for the Signal Booster .. The Fabia Ariel is already amplified as Standard.

As thought the reception isn't great. But saying that I've got a aftermarket double din and the radio reception has never been great

I like it a lot but I think Id struggle to get my 'Talksport' and '5live five' fix :giggle:

John

Regardless, I think I might do this!

Ha didnt know this would fit on the Fabia so nicely!! I have one in my man draw at home  think i might have to have a go at fitting it tonight to see what its like!

Dave

has anyone managed to find an ariel that doesnt effect the radio signal? but also stops the car looking like its got a semi!

ive got one off an s2000 on mine, does affect the signal quite a bit but then im more of an ipod person anyway
