Saw one today, the wheels are lush.. but the rest of the car is very understated..

anyway, heres a quick pic..

Should add, don't think they are quite the same as the golf gti's alloys, having now seen these in the flesh they appear to have a very minor, polished lip and may even be 2 parts wheels? or at least look like them.

FOUND EM! lol, took me ages to ID these alloys. They're not as typed almost everyone online BBS montreal ii's, but rather... BBS San Marino's! Yay!

Unfortunately, they seem as rare as hens teeth :(

Given that Monty 2s look good on the fabia, I'm expecting these to look cracking

They're a nice wheel, an option on GT's in this country and standard in Germany etc.

Get some Montreal 2's and glue bolts on

I think they did an 18" version, or very similar for the phaeton.. but that's insane!

They look better with out the Green lip, a little bigger.

there from a polo sport and u can also get them on the polo Gt, my brother has a set on his car, but isnt using them, may have a play and see what they look like on my fabia Se

I had Montreal's on mine ...but not with the lil studs...never noticed the gt with studs though? photochop looks good

Prefer the Montreals myself.

The wider lip on the San Marinos to allow for the studs make them look smaller. the fatter spoke also add to this effect.

I think they only came in 16"

Even the Golf GT TDI PD150 had 16's on as my inlaws will confirm (although they have now been replaced with 18" R32 replicas!)

Defo correct - genuine Monty 2s only came in 16 inch.

You can (or certainly were able to during my mkiv golf days) purchase a 17 inch replica version.
