Here's a few pic's of my vRS

Featured Replies

Had the day off work today and the plan was to wash and polish the car and take a few pic's to put on here, but next door soon put a stop to that..... I just about got it washed when some builders turned up with a stone cutter :(

So here's the (unpolished) pic's.....its a 53 plate, I've owned it from new and its done 21K, all paintwork inc calipers is original and its still on the original tyres (spare never used).

I think its ageing very well (compared to me)......hope you like

thats prob the ONLY one in the world with such low miles and all the original parts.

Love it

Not all original - there's a FMIC fitted :)

very nice example

whats the req i had b6 vrs so must be very similar

The car looks like new, its a credit to youemoticon-0148-yes.gif

my god that engine bay is ridiculously clean

only thing that would improve that is some genuine VRS mats

Love it mate, very similar to mine.

Mine is quite low mileage too - 04 plate with currently 34k on it.

Thank you all for the very kind comments

I've never kept any other car as long as this before, and I dont know what it is about this one.....but I hope (baring any accidents) I'll be able keep it for a long time yet.

Just wish I got more opertunities to drive it, last years annual mileage was only 1.4K.

Hi

Its a Miltec 2.75" turbo back system, and as you say the fit is spot on and it sounds nice too  and IMO looks better than the OEM tail pipe.

Because I adjusted the tail pipes to sit deep into the bumper recess I did need to firm up the rear mounting to restrict side to side movement, but it was no big deal.

When I wash the car I always wash (by hand) as much of the exhaust system as I can reach..... a bit OTT I know :giggle:

Heres another pic of the exhaust.

Good work mate! so much better then the oem tailpipe i dont like the look of the oem much at all.....time for a new exhaust i think. :p

That a nice clean motor mate a credit to you.I have a black one and think they look good in black.

Love the fact I'm not the pnly anal person when it comes to cleaning/detailing!

Love the look of your car and I particularly like the aftermarket mud flaps. Very subtle!!!

Looks fantastic mate very clean..love the exhaust also!

Thank you ..... think you maybe the only other person (besides me) that likes the mud flaps :)

I liked the look of the car with OEM front and rear mud flaps on, but IMO they are only a styling thing as they are just not long enough to do any good.

These came from Performance creations and are made up from two of there universal kit's, which come with fasteners ect supplied, but they need to be cut to size and shape.

The fronts are easy to fit due to the arch linner being flush to the wing, but the rears require 8 x 6mm spacers (either plastic or alli, I made mine from some very light gauge alli channel), due to the arch linner being set back.

The stiffness of the material performance creations use is just about right....some others I tried first were to flexible and would just blow about in the wind, where these stay in place.

Hi

can you give me some link to the plastic protectors behind the wheels.

They are aftermarket ones that I've been looking for my car.
