ABS Fitting help

Featured Replies

After my ABS light coming on I have found that the fault lies with the front drivers side ABS Sensor now I have found a replacement on ebay (only 18 quid posted) now looking at the setup how do I connect it to the bulkhead as i can see the cable goes up through the wheel arch and i don't exactly know where to???

When you get the new one you will know how further back the in-line connection is inside the engine compartment - £18 posted, I seem to remember that these things cost £130+ from VAG - so what have you bought for £18?

Before fitting new abs sensor, remove wheel then remove abs sensor then rotate driveshaft and check that the segmented ring on the cv joint is turning, i have had one come loose on cv joint and stopped rotating thus the abs sensor thinks it has a problem.
