As title says! Off to le mans in a few weeks for the 4th time, anyone else going? In the past I've been in my caterham academy car or raw striker kit car. But we are going for a little comfort and taking my taxi this year, a superb 2 170cr . Will be going newhaven - dieppe. Now just gotta get the stickers on the taxi .

Have a great time, not going this year though I'm building a kitcar with a view to having it ready for a trip to the race next year. No doubt I'll pinch a satellite decoder from somewhere and watch the race.

Which kit car are you building?

Hi Ben, I'm building a SDR WR3, an Impreza Turbo version of the V-Storm. I'm awaiting completion the first batch of production chassis etc, which hopefully will be ready for collection in the next couple of weeks, have amassed an engine gearbox and other bits in readiness. Google "SDR Sportscars" for more info.

In keeping with the Skoda theme it will be finished in sprint yellow with lots of carbon bits hopefully.

Unfortunately not - I went regularly at one stage in various cars but the last 4 years have been scuppered by my two kids being born and thier birthdays being on or around the same weekend...

Hope you have a good trip though - I'm envious.

What you taking shark_90? Gonna be in new superb and my mate was gonna be in his vrsII. Only trouble is, i think he sold that today. Trying to find a fl vrs 170cr in red with dsg and everything else in less than 2 weeks! Don't fancy his chances!

Yes shall be there this year in the fab, another member will be there. Ben was that in the blue campsite? Watched England v France in there huge tent one year. shall be in blue campsite again this year. Look out for white e-type, red and yellow fab and that's us lol.
