Wood Look Dash Trim

How easy was it to fit? What was the procedure?

It was simple to fit remove center cover from around the radio

the using a plastic wedge lift the trim and pull down slightly and away from the dash ... it comes off quite easy ...

Then fitting start and the lower part of the console and work way up with firm press it took around 5 mins to fit

None just awaiting a few bits to complete the MDI install

Parts are due in around 2 weeks

I do like this trim.

I believe the part numbers are:

5L2858417C trim for switch

5L2858418C moulding for dashboard.

These are the rhd part numbers according to ETKA and they are described as poplar (wood).

What price were they?

No Onyx the Gobi although nice I would not be able to keep clean for more than 5 mins

Yep thats the part numbers

Sorry, I don't understand, I thought it was one piece!

No it's two. If you sit in your (rhd) Yeti driver's seat, you'll note that on the right of the steering wheel there's a strip about 8 inches long that surrounds the light switch with the bigger piece that surrounds the radio to the left.

I've e-mailed my dealer and asked them to order the parts.
