Been involved in a couple of get togethers with some other Briskeezers

and we've met at this location. After chatting with some of the others I

took the plunge and contacted AMD about the possibility of a Brisky RR day.

Thanks for the enquiry.It would be great to arrange a RR day for Briskoda.

We do a discounted rateof £35 per car with a minimum of 10 cars.

If you can get 20 cars or more we lay on a free BBQ.

We also offer a 10% discount on parts ordered on the day.

Firstly it has to be said that this will not be an official Briskoda event as such and is

an "at your own risk" production organised by mysef. :yes:

This is due to the fact that having read the list it seems the 13th is the better date for most so far.

It also maximises the chances of getting a decent number of participants. (sorry Mark... )

I'm hoping the 13th of June would also semi guarantee decent weather.

Nice for a free Barbie if we can swell our numbers to 20+ in this time. mmm hotdogs goooood.....

Any Brisky member who can get there is welcome.

Obviously though this should be of most interest to Essex, Kent, & London members.

But anybody who wants to come further is also more than welcome too as it's a good price for a RR sesh.

Depends on date, I can do the 13th but probably not the 6th.

Some of us in the South Central forum were trying to organise a RR day at Surrey Rolling Road which didn't get a lot of interest and theres now a No-Rice one taking place there on Saturday the 12th, so maybe some of the people that said they would do Surrey RR would be able to come to AMD? Its only another 45mins round the M25.

Yep they are expensive. Mate of mine had a Stage 1 generic remap from them, plus a Forge DV and a replacement panel filter... kissed goodbye to over £400!

And they normally charge £75 for a rolling road run... so we're getting a bargain here.

Got a quote from them for Milltek exhaust, decat and stage 2 remap and that was £850, so yes I think it does include the parts providing you have a bigger turbo/hybrid & FMIC already.

yep very very overpriced but this is what you charge when you have a big name like amd and especially they are now in the btcc so there name is known

must say there golf they brought ready to race in the btcc is so nice

Hi again all,

Numbers are swelling but no where near enough to make this day a real blast yet.

I placed threads in a few different forums to try and get the message out there but

was unaware that this "cross posting" is against forum rules,

Unfortunately they have now been removed by the moderators.

If you guys post across lots of forums, ( I don't really... I'm always in Fabia 1)

then do your bit and spread the word. Maybe a few of you could put the link to

this page in your sig for a couple of weeks as I have.

I could maybe ask a couple of friends and their cars down. Not Skoda's however, Have a friend with a 306 GTi 6 and a Seat Leon Cupra-R. Both want to do a RR day.

I refuse to accept that we can't find 20 willing members.

It's a shame this thread ended up here. I fear that it won't get seen as easily.

It would be a good addition to the site if there was a member arranged events noticeboard

where we could put a temporary "advert" for want of a better word. Like the cards in the newsagent window type thing.

After the event they get taken down. seems like a good idea to me.

has this been posted in the essex meet section?

I'm up for this depending on time as I am meant to be working 8-4. Might be able to finish at 12 depending on start time? Also if a Golf V is allowed?
