Well I ordered my Yeti on the 6th of April and have up to now had no build week. SUK and the dealer just confirmed (independently) my build week as week 41 - and no neither called me I had to chase them AGAIN. Urgh. Mid October!!! And delivery to me three weeks after that in early November. A HALF YEAR of waiting for a car... so I'm not even half way through the wait yet. Who would have thought I will ask them to deliver it for me with the winter wheels ON and not in the boot! Grrr.

And then re the VAT (which was my main reason for calling them): I have to pay off the car in full BEFORE a possible increase to get it at the old VAT rate. If I don't the quote on my order form will be adjusted to the new rate. So if it goes up to 19,5% as suggested it is just under £400 extra. Or half a sunroof. Grrr.

[As an aside: I took delivery of my A2 on 10-10-01 and was really hoping to take delivery of the Yeti on 01-10-10 or 10-10-10. But now at least it will be born on 11-10-10 so still a binary date of sorts!]

built almost a year after mine then; WK42/09 14th October to be precise. Collected from the dealer on the 6th November, after she spent over a week sitting at Emden waiting for a ship.

Be worth the wait though and yes best go straight onto winters.

Might even get her in time for a reg on 01-11-10 or maybe 10-11-10

Oh TP indeed!!!!!!!!!!! I forgot that November is also two ones! OH yes! 01-11-10 is too early but I will want 10-11-10!!! Yihay! Dealer will have to aim for that on the dot!!!

That is good news 900000. I too ordered a SM with sunroof on April 10. I was given a build week of 34 but this changed to 31, then 39 and as of yesterday, week 41. Maybe week 41 is the allocated build week for sunroof equipped cars destined for the UK. You never know
