looking at organising a road orientated run through the North York Moors, stopping of at various places of interest some associated with the Heartbeat drama series (as was) and the moors steam railway. Most likely will finish of in Whitby for fish & chips.

Looking at early to mid August so lee67 can participate with his long awaited Monster

yes that was the plan but unfortunately a number of things have conspired against me for this year Looking like next June or July (2011) all being well

yep! N York Moors are always worth a visit. Great scenery - and boy! those fish'n'chips in Whitby.

work out a date tp may turn it into a long weekend run

You could add some nice fords into a run around there (if they haven't all dried up!!)

I'm certainly up for this but am on holiday until 10th August.

from initial feedback I will provisionally be looking at the weekend of the 14th /15th August, most likly the Sunday. So if you can come allong that would be great.

Be nice to see even more Monsters together than the first mini meet in Wales

Time wise 10:30 - 11:00 and meet in Pickering; car park just off the A169 / A170 roundabout (accessed from the A170 heading to Scarborough).

Look forward to seeing as many as can make the meet (please indicate if you are coming along, so we don't leave before all are there).

yes A64 to Malton, turn off onto the A169 for Pickering, turn right at the roundabout in Pickering (A170 Scarborough) and first left down the side of the public loo's into the car park.

Had a great recent holiday in heartbeat country loved the roads much more fun than here in Norfolk, Would have loved to join you a bit pushed for time, to far to make it a day trip. We had fish & chips, , as you do, At Whitby,how are you going to park a convoy of Yetis there ? we found it extremely difficult midweek before the school holidays, local knowledge maybe ? we had a great time in your neck of the woods and will certainly be returning, Have a great day out look forward to photos Cheers

I would love to join you, but I do not think I can pull it off this time - work, two 20 hour ferry rides- not really feasible unless I can line up some customer visits, which is not likely in the holiday period.
