Auto close/open windows

Following a thread from seatcupra.net I have just gone and done it so my car now opens and closes all windows on the remote fob

I did this with a free bit of software which you will need to register

It took a couple of minutes to do in the car and works spot on, oh, and, it works with windows vista just fine and I used my cheapo ebay lead

The software is in czech but I got through it just fine with my zero knowledge of the Czech language

i tried doin this with mine,my mate told me about it he's got a golf and that must work from standard on them so i thought oh it must work on mine with been a vag car and i was annoyed when it didn't will deffo do this coz i always forget to put my windows up

I've been trying to do it the hard way for quite a while now using VDS-Pro etc but this is so simples

Ahh, you've been reading the same thread as me!

Looks good doesn't it - I've downloaded the software earlier so will give it a try on the Fab. All depends on the version of convenience really...

MKM Lite 1.20 version can be used only in the cars with comfort units 1C0 959 799, therefore the third generation units. These units are in the following cars:

* Škoda Octavia / Octavia Combi – since vintage 05/2001

* Škoda Superb

* VW Passat / Passat Variant since model year 2001 (vintage year 2000)

* WV Golf / Golf Variant since model year 2001 (vintage year 2000)

* VW Bora / Bora Variant since model year 2001 (vintage year 2000)

* VW New Beetle since model year 2002 (vintage year 2001)

* Seat Toledo since model year 2001 (vintage year 2000)

* Seat Leon since model year 2001 (vintage year 2000)

Dunno if it will work but fingers crossed

Not possible via VCDS, but, if you have a lead that works with VCDS just download the software.

To activate the function open/close windows via remote control key just push "Aktivace oken" key in software, and that`s it?

You need to put ticks in the two boxes without ticks, or thats what I did.

You need to take the serial number from the program, in the setup, and then put your e-mail addy in the lower box and they send you the activation code.
