Does anybody know what the type of light bulb is used for the DRL lamps in the Fog lamp assembly.

The lamp type is not listed in the manual.

I am trying to source LED replacements, I have found a few CANBUS compatible lamps but don't know if there is lamp failure detection on the DRL's and therefore if CANBUS compatible lamps are necessary

Anybody have any Idea?

No, but i have also been trying to find out, so far with no luck, what we need is for someone to remove their bulb to find out

oh and whilst you are at it can you measure the front and rear badges please

Come on, someone must know (the foglights are dead easy to remove to check)

According to my handbook the front foglight bulbs are " H8 "!

But the foglight has 3(?) separate bulbs in it, the DRL is a separate bulb.

this link to Philips might be of interest. The Yeti uses the P13W bulb listed which in theory should last the life of the vehicle and supposedly a dealer fit replacement in the unlikely event a new one is needed. The the new Fabia II FL handbook on the other hand suggests it uses standard P21W bulbs for its DRL's.

It looks like most of the posters are talking about retro-fitting the DRL's rather than what has been asked:

It should also be noted that we are ONLY interested in what type of OE bulb is fitted in the SUPERB II - hence it being in the Superb II sub forum.

Sorry, the bulb is the same as on the Octavia. Normal 21w bulb like the ones used on the reverse lights.

I own a Skoda Superb II Elegance 1.8 TSI MY 2012 with Bo-Xenon Headlights. The DRL's are Type: 1156 with BA15S Holders. I have successfully replaced the stock halogen bulbs with the below LED Bulbs, without triggering the Can Bus error warning. The bulbs are super-bright and they look great on the car. I purchased them from e-bay and you can cut-paste the below phrase in to e-bay to search for them.
