vRSCarl I know exactly where you're coming from on the email front, i've not used web mail in years but each time I notice a new mail I was genuinely excited until I realised it was from Aldi/Game/eBay/spam/Nigerian spammers all day. I'm stuck at work as it happens so i'm hoping Ben comes through with the goods some time soon as i've got a nice long drive ahead of me thanks to Royal Mail failing to deliver and by the time i'm finished i'll have the roads to myself.

As Ben appears to be following the thread perhaps a realistic update on ETA for those of us with outstanding maps would help ? It'd probably save answering a few phone calls as well

I'm down in Nottingham (well Heanor so technically Derbyshire) to get the Roady serviced at the end of the month and had wanted to get booked up for a CC retro fit on the Octy as the other half will be bringing the kids so we can make a weekend of it but i'm beginning to think it's not worth trying to book in as from the sounds of it you're manic at the moment. I also still have SWMBO's Golf to sort out as mentioned in the past but i'd like to get my map sorted and installed before I consider anything else.

I would also like to receive a delivery date i have been waiting patiently since last Sunday.Ben was supposed to phone me back Friday but never received the call shame i expected better than this from Ben.

in ben's defence i called in the other day for a catch up and he was snowed under trying to sort everybody out, constantly on the phone helping people with issue's that they had so please be patient and i'm sure all will come good. i know you've all obviously being waiting a while but with the high demand from the group buy and also the day to day running of the unit and doing it all on his own i'm sure you can understand the work load he's got

please dont let this put you off using him for any other services you may require as he is a top bloke and would'nt be making you wait for no obvious reason.he is exteremly busy as you can imagine and he is only human after all and does require a break once in a while

and ben i'll see you next time i'm back and hopefully manage to get more than 3 sentences out of you

and dont worry about that number you were supposed to text me :p our lass had booked it at smythe's by the time i'd got home, cheers anyway.

I don't think any of us are begrudging him this - given the popularity of the group buy it's fairly obvious that this would happen. What is disappointing is that we had been promised "all outstanding maps will be done by Friday", and they haven't been. I had to phone to check that they had even received my map to modify, got an apology as they had overlooked the email, and a promise that "it will be done today". That was on Thursday, if I recall correctly. It's now Sunday and I still don't have a map (my email was sent on Monday). If it's going to be late, then just let us know and we'll behave. I promise.

To the three people who are still outstanding, I can only apologise again. Both Mikko and myself have been flat out and with a prior commitment to Audi Driver International this weekend the preparations for the show and juggling everything else has just meant despite silly hours we still have lots of things outstanding. And to top it off, all the hard work on the car didn't pay off as it ran like crap until 4:15pm and the last session when it all finally came good!

It will be worth the wait I assure you, and while I've struggled to deliver the usual high level of customer service over the last few weeks, normal service will be resumed shortly.

I appreciate (as I have with others) that I've promised your maps to be done on the day I spoke to you, and with all the best intentions they were meant to be, but hours and days have simply passed by.

It's completely my own fault and I haven't been able to fulfill te commitment I've given you collectively and individually.. All I can ask is for you to appreciate that we're only a small company and we have the best intentions, we've just been a bit crap at it of late!

Not to worry, all it needs is a re-assuring post such as your one above, and we're all happy knowing that you haven't forgotten about us!

Obviously, we're still keen to get the maps asap, but appreciate that other projects may take precedent. Thanks for the update, just wish it had been on Friday rather than today.

im prob the last to recieve my sts unit due to holiday and a pre-arrangement with ben holding it back for me instead of it getting lost in the post .... well now holiday over and cant wait to get my hands on it after reading some reviews of the maps

My Revo Stage 2+ vRS K03s pushes harder than yours and gets 42mpg. So I think you will find my vRS is better lighter and more agile than yours. :p

My (Soon to be Shark Mapped) 2.0 PD 140 L&K obviously won't and gets currently 49mpg

So there :p :p

Oh and I holiday in Elevenarife and always have 2 Poo's

Wooooohoooo got up this morning to find an Email sat in my inbox.

Opened it up and there was my Performance Map :) :)
