EPC light showing

Featured Replies

Driving home yesterday my epc light came on, checked my brakes and lights all working.

Only thing i did to the car yesterday was fill up to the brim with diesel and added millers fuel additive... could this be the cause?

Code scan will tell you the fault. All else is pretty much guess work. Defo not filling up that did it though.

Check your brake light bulbs :)

Well this is weird..

Im going to order a scanner to check the code but in the meantime i thought i might as well disconnect the vaccum pipe to the top of the epg.

I had the pipe off before but got fed up of the ywllow epc light.

anyway after 10 seconds of driving the light went off!

Then 2 miles later it came back on after the system realised the pipe was off.

Im going to connect the pipe again to see if the lights goes out...
