I loves my vRS!

Featured Replies

Just a little note.

Completely fell for my vRS all over again last night...

Normally I do a 40 minute commute into west London down the A40 and while it's not so bad, it's by no means fun and I end up getting obsessed with MPG in the absence of being able to plant the right foot.

Drove from London to Horncastle in Lincolnshire.. That's A1(M) and then a load of really safe but fun and swooping NSL roads..

It was an awesome drive and I've not had the chance so safely and repeatedly plant it like that and feel the vRS torque surge through the gears for ages. Also remembered how good the TDi could actually sound when being pushed.. Really nice exhaust tone for a stock diesel setup.

Cars running better than ever now too!

.... I'm here for a week, but at least I'll have something to look forward too when it's time to leave

Sounds like a well needed Italian tune up  I gave mine a thorough beans session today, and it still puts a grin on my chops.

Took me 2 years to get bored of my vRS, toy'd with the idea of getting a remap but went petrol instead, still, torque can be impressive :-)

looks like you may have a lack of torque now :p

This is going to sound trite from someone who runs a TT as their daily driver, but I swear I'd rather drive the Fabia. With even stock power struggling to be contained through the front wheels only, and suspension that, even when stiffened, is still comfy, you can DRIVE the Fabia on UK roads. You have to place the car or it won't go through a bend tidily. You have to plan your drive.

On an Autobahn storm across Deutschland, and for attracting the attention of young ladies, the Audi wins hands down, but in the UK the size and power delivery of the Fabia make it the better car for a DRIVE.

I'm 100% with you - if I ever change this Fabia, it will only be for another one!

I think its the b1255, caistor high road, runs from caistor to horncastle and its an absolute beauty! Mind you, Lincs is a brilliant part of the country for a drive wherever you go
