am i right in thinking on the cubby hole on the left of my boot there is a door that can go on this when the cd changer is fitted. if so does anyone have the part number?
i think it would be far more useful if it had a door to secure small items. Olly

You can get a Boot Storage Bag (part DMA 600 001) for £29 and it's designed to fit in that area.

My Scout came with both holes on the boot with doors. And the boot storage bag fits inside with door closed. I'm sure the dealer should be able to source the door for you.

if I have time this afternoon i'll see if I can find a part no. on mine, and see how it hinges from the floor.

There should be the door covers on both sides, if one is missing have a word with the supplying dealer as it should be there.

I've had a look on ETKA, and the illustration clearly shows the door there, however, it is listed as "not a replacement part" and there is no part number there.
Sorry

EDIT: That was looking at 2007 Octavia 1Z I've looked on 2009 model year and found these

Left side - cover - 1Z9 868 885
Right side - cover - 1Z9 868 886

Both have suffix 1BS after the part numbers for anthracite

Hope that helps

Mike

I have a net on one side and a "hole" on the other and looking at pictures of recent cars on this board that seems to be the norm...

Maybe it's only the estate that gets the door on both sides...

A further look on ETKA shows that even on the 2009 hatch, the door doesn't seem available, but these part numbers above are definitely there listed for the combi (estate) version

My Elegance hatch is like yours, a cubby hole with a door on the left hiding the CD changer, and a rigid metal net and open space on the right

Think the door are standard on the estate (both L + R) but not supplied on the hatch. Don't think the gaps are the same size therefore the estate doors are unlikely to fit the hatch.
