*waves* Hi people!

Just bought a skoda felicia (2000 1.9 diesel estate) because my mum bought a skoda virtually new around the millenium when they had relaunched - we were so impressed; it was powerful, indestructable, roomy and we went *everywhere* in it without a hiccup.

It was due to be passed down to me and although they may not be the coolest car in the world, i was well happy, but as I hadn't yet passed my test I let my ex use it....and he drove it into a van. It was written off, but we were able to claim it back because pretty much the only damage was a pierced rad and the front end a bit messed up. I sourced all the parts, but just before it went to the garage, all the valuable bits of the engine were nicked from right otuside my house!? At that point it became seriously uneconomical and the thing had to be scrapped :'(

But I never forgot it! And cursed the sorry experience when my peugeot 206 wipers went and the bill ended up being £200+! Now my transit van is dead, there was really only one alternative, so I went back to the Skoda and so far so good B)
