Possibly as much as a shock to PH members as the Cooper vs Vrs on top gear was to Hammond .( He couldn't believe that a Skoda ,and a diesel at that , could thrash a Mini cooper aka BMW) .

Never thought Skoda made race cars, more to learn about.

They have a picture of this in Dm Keiths Bradford on the wall. Love the Limo

A few years back helped fit a BD605 aero engine into a Messerschmitt BF109 museum restoration, the Skoda winged arrow was clearly visible on the crank case. I was a bit suprised to find that they identified these engines built under occupation in such a clear way, as I would think the aircrew might have got a bit twitchy about factory sabotage.

Wasn't there a Skoda racing car like the one pictured above at last years Gaydon meet? I remember seeing pics of it and wondering what it was.
