Bargain Transcend 16Gb Class 10 SDHC cards - £21.99 inc del

Featured Replies

Yep, have used MyMemory quite a bit. Always good service.

That's a good price that. I have one of their 8Gb Class 10s and it does the trick nicely

I got an 8 gig card off Ebay for £9.99 delivered. Thought that was cheap given it wasn't a Hong Kong special either - UK seller.

Was that a Class 10?

I managed to get two of the Sandisk extreme 30mb/sec 4gb cards for £34 last year. I used 7dayshop.com.

They're a lightning fast card with the D90 which was one of the first cameras to make use of there transfer speed. If you ever get a chance to get one at a good price i'd defo recommend them. I tend to get at least 10 shots before the buffer starts filling up and the speed slows down.

Cheers

Dave.

I've got a Transcend Class 6 in my Nikon at the moment and it's absolutely fine

Never had any problems with Transcend cards so I wouldn't let that name put you off however I've found Mymemory's after sales service to be appalling, I had an SD card which broke (5 year warranty on the card) so returned it to them for a replacement. Eventually they provided a replacement which was an inferior speed to the one that had failed so they told me to send it back which I of course did and then waited for the proper replacement which never came as the prices of the cards had gone up and therefore Mymemory would not supply a replacement. Any mails were met with brief one line replies and eventually without asking they refunded the money for the original card (which was nowhere near enough to buy a replacement at current prices) and that was case closed as far as they were concerned. I accept that all companies have blunders but when they're consistently poor and cannot correct their mistakes that puts me off them.
