Anyone aware of a mk2 octavia being broken

Featured Replies

Hi all just thought i would ask if anyone is aware of a mk2 being broken as i have just bought a silver damaged 09 plate VRS estate. Overview of parts i need are:

Bonnet

Passenger (Near side) wing

Drivers headlight

Front VRS bumper (few of these about on fleabay) (are the front spots just skoda specific of are they fitted on any other VAG's?)

rear seats and raised boot floor panel and a few other little bits from a VRS estate (was a police dog van so was stripped out)

I aint asking anyone to do the work for me and have been searching the normal places (with some results) but if anyone does happen to see any of these bits please give me a shout.

Be a few beers for someone at the first show meet i go to once the car is sorted :)

Cheers all.

Are you smoking crack fella?! lmao

Now Selective catalytic reduction might be right up your street and is an interesting topic in the right arena, but making diatomic nitrogen aint gonna repair my car :) lol

Have ylou tried fleabay or one of those on line used parts places (just google skoda parts). I've never had any of them get back to me on the couple of occasions I've tried them...

Flea bay is the better bet i tried a google search got in contact with several online breakers via their forms, and got a phone call from some toe rag saying that they had the parts for my car they had ALL my details of the car registration etc what I nwted etc said they had what i wanted and could dispatch it there and then fully guaranteed. So i paid via CC and yes several people had their mobile phones topped up within minutes!!! some £300 before the CC company blocked the card. The only thing I knew was a call from the CC company telling me what happened....BUYER BEWARE unless it is reputable such as http://motorsinmotion.co.uk don't bother it aint worth the hassle....

Another one which appears OK is nirroltd - they are a registered company (checked on Companies House), and can supply VAG parts - worth contacting them to see if they have anything in stock
