chasing my car

Featured Replies

daft question, but iread now and again about people waiting for a boat bla bla bla

can you actually keep an eye where yor car is in transport ...

i'm curious to know too.

i've know the website for tracking it, once its loaded on to the ship - https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/.

But wat about the bit from when it rolls out of the factory, to being loaded on the ship?

i.e. is it on the train on the way to emden?

is it sitting on the docks waiting to b loaded?

i was advised by my dealer that my car was built last week (day 5 wk 35). how would i now know where it is - still at the factory yard? on the train? at the shipping yard?

Your factory order number from the dealer.

IIRC there have been threads on here in the past where the dealer can give you the build number or something like that, you then can call up Skoda customer service, they will enter the number on their system and that will be able to track the car from journey through the factory to delivery to the dealer. Remember though that I have heard of cars waiting at the docks in Emden for weeks waiting for a space on a ship.

Found it in post from 6th Sept by DAZ 1603. It is the factory order number you can get from your dealer.
