Hi to all, just signed up today looking for buying info on mk1 octavia vrs, looking to buy a vrs estate in october when my money for my Bora sale comes through(selling to the mother in law LOL)

Where I am based Greenock on the west coast of Scotland the estate vrs is really hard to come by, I have been looking for one for the past two months in the usual places autotrader/ebay/pistonheads but havnt seen one north of the border. Would prefer not to travel but not opposed to it, so anywhere in the uk would be fine for the right car.

My budget is upto £4000, would like FSH/cambelt changed, 51 plate onwards less than 100k, good/excellent condition, not fussed on the colour, prefer a standard car but not put off by mild mods, so if you have one or know of one in a dealer near you let me know, looking forward to checking the info on the site out and thanks in advance for your replies, Paul

How much bigger is the estate boot compared to the hatch? anyone got the figures?
