Superb 2 passenger door mirror

Featured Replies

Anyone help with this please.......on my brand new Superb SE it says somewhere that you can set the passenger door mirror via the maxidot, to tilt downwards towards the kerb when you select reverse gear?? anyone give me a clue please ??

Hi Ian -

I only found this out on this Forum last week. What you do is turn the wingmirror switch to 'Left'. When you then select reverse gear, the left wingmirror will move downwards, and then move back upwards when you move out of reverse gear. I find it very useful indeed.

I am sure you have figured this out, but here another handy tip (which I again found out here). When you lock the car using the keyfob, hold the lock button down for 1-2 seconds longer and the wing mirrors will automatically fold inwards. When you come back to the car, open the car normally (with a swift press of the open button on the keyfob) and the wingmirrors will fold outwards when you turn the key in the ignition.

Two very nice touches from Skoda. Such attention to detail only adds to the enjoyment of this beautiful car.

Regards,

Andrew.

I believe this is Elegance specification only as it requires the electrically adjustable front seats (uses the memory).

Best regards
