I think the only factory option it hasn't got is ESP

What about rear parking sensors? or was that not an option in mk1 vrs?

it's got them

That satnav is pretty horrid! But the huge hole in the dashboard is even worse...

I'm liking the maxidot!! I thought it was only an option with the OE satnav?

Still not worth over £5k though. I could have two VRS's for that kind of money :giggle:

Agree looks awful, don't think that is standard OEM sat nav, as the OEM one is double din unit fitted where sterio is. I have it in mine

way over priced for that spec..

It needs some B pillar black trims too.....

Agree on the satnav - nasty!

Im in a minority, because i quite like the satnav install. Saves having it stuck to the wndscreen, and it cn be flipped down when not in use.

Overpriced.

Rear and front armrest?

The proper Skoda OE one that Bowders has is much nicer. That one looks really nasty to me. It doesn't even look like it's been fitted straight. Plus it looks really basic and old, and you're kind of stuck with it after cutting a massive hole in the dash! If he replaced the dashboard and set a sensible price, it would make a desirable buy.

You don't need it stuck in the windscreen if you have the OEM one as Bodge states.

Think this one takes that award

That is a seriously modified car. Not sure what annual maintenance is likely to turn out to be so much going on under the engine, but if you can afford it, then likely to be the fastest (or close to) VRS on the market.

Eibach suspension didn't think this was available for MK1 VRSemoticon-0138-thinking.gif

It not listed for the VRS but does not stop people fitting it as it will fit all the Octavia models, just not suited and advertised for the VRS, unless this has recently changed.

I fitted them to mine and removed them in less than a week. dam right dangerous as mentioned in a number of threads on this site.

He states he has matched shocks, so may well be for the VRS model in that case,

Eibach "DO NOT" list a specific spring on their latest site for the Mk1 Octy vRS, they never have.

no sunroof?

I think some clios or something come with a satnav mount like that which is fine, but to cut a hole in the dash makes removal afterwards somewhat difficult. or what happens when that unit fails and it needs to be swapped for another unit does not fit into the same size hole which has been cut in the dash?

I use a Dell x50v and it happily sits ontop of the ashtray lid. Out of the way and no sucky marks on the window.
