I have just got mine through the post and here are the fitting and wiring instructions, hope to be watching Corry next week in the taxi

Could this be made a sticky please

Very interested to see how you go with this.

Any chance you can detail all parts, where sourced from and any fitting photos/hints/tips if and when you get it going?? B)

Could not get photos, but you just remove the Columbus, and the ash tray, to remove ash try leaver up gear stick cover underneath there are 2 screws

splice into the pins required as in the diagram connect up the box, then wire in DTV box to the fuse box, and connect up to MMP run Ariel cables up side pillars along with remote control sensor, installation took about an hour

re fit everything turn on Columbus and nothing, it needs coding to turn on TV function

Installer could not do it as his vag lead was knacked, so all that's required now is to get it coded at Chathams in Edinburgh, unless someone wants some beer tokens, any offers from someone in the Edinburgh area???

Well done

You know you need to give a comprehensive walk through now :wonder:

Whats the aerial looking like, think you said up your windscreen pillars? How's reception when parked, any problems? Are you getting all freeview channels?

Enjoy

Aeriel, on far left, same on drivers side, depending on where I am I can receive all the channels and a clear picture, if in the town it all depends on the buildings and the only place I need it it does not work, as the aerials are facing away from the mast direction, but should work with an outside aerial or 2, can receive radio on the move no problem, just need to find 2 very high gain magnetic aerials now.

I think I can now claim the title of having the first MFD RNS510 TV unit in an Octy in the UK
