Fits in the OEM place

5 inch tubular thick core which is better than bar and plate

Methanol and co2 inputs as well as a map sensor, so avoiding having to make a plate or buying the forge one

that's interesting, any idea on price/ working compared to FMIC?

if it's cheaper and works just as well they could be ono a winner there.....

pros/cons anyone?

Jake

as above, would save a lot of hassle [versus the fmic] but can it be as effective as a fmic ? emoticon-0148-yes.gif

It must be better than the OE one and if your running a map with no intention of going for over 200bhp it would be ideal surely.

Found it online it's 549 dollars =£344

I'm getting the data sheet.

I'd say now the S-MAX cooler beats any cooler on the market

This looks like a nice bit of kit.. but Pikey Arch mod and fog light removal are a must, surely.. once you've done that, assuming you didn't do a big mouth the FMIC might even look a little more OEM? Certainly the Focus ST? cooler that fits completely below the bash bar would be just as good and oem looking? With the bonnet down at least.

I suppose you could do the arch and just whip out the fog light trim when on track days..

Difficult to work out the worth of this really..

Do we think it'd perform as well as a FMIC?

Cheap yes!

Is good theres another option as opposed to 500-600 quid!

I doubt there will be the same flow as a fmic being in the arch!

Seat sport fmic will devo give cooler boost at high bhp

This is for the MK4 and derivatives. Are our ICs the same part/size as those found on a MK4 Golf?
