Featured Replies

It looks like we are booking in at at the Exeter M5 Travelodge for the Saturday night. If others want to book rooms, you may want to hurry as it could get busy.

If you Google the bath house pub on exmouth seafront, the meet will start there early, or more precisely, the cafe next door for full English breakfast. ;-)

ah yes, i know exactly where you mean, i've worked in the exmouth pavillion a few times which is right next door when i was on tour with a band... funny how you remember stuff like that. i can picture the place in my mind.. right on the waterfront

Yeah, the Pavillion is bolted on the end of that building. Kind of goes, Bath House pub, summer ice-cream place, cafe for full english, pavillion theatre. :)

The cafe for full English breakfast is to the right of the bath house pub couple of doors down, as you look at it with back to the sea.

As I am disorganised I will give out postcodes on the day for the WSM part.

I'm going to sort out routes, postcodes, etc to hand out at the start of the Jurassic meet. As long as everyone is outside/near Channel View Cafe on Exmouth seafront at the alotted time (which I've conveniently forgotten but say to leave at roughly 9.30am, factoring in a full english :D)

Right after hunting for pubs etc, I have decided now to simply combine the Charmouth stop with lunch at the fish & chip shop / cafe. :) Too much hassle for me getting numbers, etc for a proper booked pub table.

fish n chips is fine by me :)

good call that jason, you know what it's like what with people changing thier minds and not coming on the day

We like chips :)

Don't forget 9am meeting on Exmouth seafront, but going to head up to McDonalds for breakfast, EX8 2NR

Aiming to probably leave there around 10, but possibly earlier.

Good run out today. Somehow my car said I did 61mpg on the way back from Lulworth to home....?! Glad to have had no casualties despite a couple of interesting moments. ;) And worst damage I think was the SE going into limp mode due to overboost and Tom needing to tweak the pick-up engine at one point. Oh, and the Roomster had to go on spare wheel after Devon lanes exacerbated an already known slow puncture issue.

Pics to follow tomorrow from me :D
