I've had a weather flash this afternoon from our local council (Blackburn with Darwen) warning of temperatures down to -5 tonight and rain turning to ice overnight.

Gritters will be out in the early hours (in fact I have seen some gritters out this evening).

There are also severe weather warnings across the south coast including Sussex, Hampshire, and Dorset...........If you're driving leave at least 2 seconds between you and the car in-front and if its icy or wet then TRIPLE that.
