Ok, so after I decided there was enough interested I thought I would take the initiative to sort a meet in the YO area. As it's fast approaching the festive time of year I thought that it would be nice to have a Christmas meet. dano989 wanted one near York so, why not.

So after a wee bit of Googling I put present to you the Brisky Yorkshire area Christmas meet at Ye Old Sun Inn, Colton, Tadcaster; Sunday 12th December 2010 at 3pm.

All those in favour say "I" - or more specifically vote!

Info on the Sun Inn can be found here

It is an awarding pub so I suspect nice ale. Pretty village and a large car park. Located off the A64 South West of York.

I hope for a good turnout but I appreciate it's near Chistmas and folk are busy but all are welcome and and it'll be good to see you all before the end of the year.

Happy days

I don't seem to be able to view who has voted, not sure if that's my mistake, so those who vote please just add a reply too. Thanks

Hi Will,

Thanks for setting this up - i was looking forward to the next meet to be honest.

Only think is that i'm doing lunch with the missus and some mates in leeds at 1pm.

Might be done by about 3pm and stop in if time allows; but for now i'm only a "maybe".

I trusy all is good with you and the white machine

Cheers,

Ste.

Hey Ste, good to hear from you. All is well, I hope you are. I'm spending the night back home in Baildon tonight, nice to see some greenary for once! I see you've been down south, hope the car did you well. Thanks for the pressure washer recommendation, in the end I went for the Nilfisk that was recommended, I ordered from Screwfix and it was there the next morning, free delivery too  I'll be out on the drive testing it out tomorrow hopefully!

I play Sunday football which is why I've put 3pm, so hopefully being a little later in the afternoon you should be able to stop by - it's not far from Leeds!

No worries Will - the Nilfisk was mentioned by Baker21 last time my pressure washer packed in.

Yeah - car ran well on the long journey last week. Averaged 39mpg over 3 tanks of fuel in the end.

I spent a good few hours on the car today - so looking mint for work tomorrow.

I trust the White Will machine will be looking smart tomorrow also - i hope you get the weather for it. B)

Hope to catch you soon.

Cheers,

Ste.

Will do!

Chris - the Furby please - never seen it!

I will try and make this, never been to a skoda meet....but my memory will probably let me down :(

Why is it that there are two Christmas Skoda meets happening on the same day. :S Both of which I want to go to. :'(

I'd love to meet you, Simbo, and want to see Chris's new Green Furby, but us North East lot are trying to organise one on the 12th as well, which will be nearer to me.

So if the NE one is cancelled for some reason and depending on the weather, I may have a run out to you lot.

Edited by Jim H

We could change the venue and meet half way

No?

Mmmm...a difficult one :S

Well the NE guys still haven't got organised
