Anyone else worryingly attached to their Yeti?

Featured Replies

So, Ace Cafe anyone???

I'm totally up for that! I think a row of identical Monster will make quite a site. But in talking to my car mad friend last night that go to the Ace a lot parking might be difficult when they have a themed night (which is most every night). Only the cars of that theme can get in...

Perhaps a pub close to the M25 with trees near it and plenty of parking for a row of monster?

How about The Sportsman near Mogador? See attached picture. Close to the M25 for easy access but it feels completely rural around there.

If you do not have the auto-light option, the mirror is located lower on the windscreen, and gets in the way looking around RH corners (in LH drive car). Nothing wrong with the rear view. but a pain in the butt on hairpins RH turns and in some crossing situations. I am around 6' tall and like a high driving position .. and need to duck often to look right under the mirror.

I totally agree, I am the same height - I love the seat hiked up for a high driving position, there's plenty of head room, but then the mirror does intrude, its true. With seat two thirds down, the mirror situation is fine, but the low position irritates me a tad. I am currently vascillating from one to t'other, trying to discover which I like best.

That said, I definately like my Yeti very much indeed - certainly one of the most enjoyable cars I've owned!

Ducking and diving to avoid the mirror does the cervical vertebrae a power of good, especially when you get to a certain age. When i first got the Yeti and ducked and dived like a dervish demented the old neck creaked and crunched like footsteps on gravel.

Now, 6 months on, all is silent and smooth and glides like a swan on the wing.

Its a bit like wearing bi-focals for the first time. People behind you think you're nid-nid-nodding in agreement with something, whereas you're only trying to focus properly on whatever you're concentrating on.
