I just could not resist when I drove past this spot of snow covered tarmac near Ickleton in Essex.

Oh boy now was that fun!!!!

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Why did you stop? Did you have the ESP 'on' or 'off'?

Oh believe me I did not stop after that! And yes traction control was firmy off!!!

I'm still smiling ear to ear here!!!

Well I actually did something very similar this morning but was wondering whether it was worth mentioning on here :p

I was amazed at how controllable it was and didn't realise just how much like a full blown rear wheel drive it would become! On summer tyres I'm betting I'd have to try a lot less hard to make it break traction in the first place but once it's going it's a hoot! :D

Would that have been in the Brent Cross shopping centre car park?

Lol no not in a public area at all! Although saying that, the number of people that seemed to be power sliding into the bays at sainsburys this morning like a russ swift stunt show was impressive :S

I'm still smiling! Must say that the run in the video was the first one. Did a few more after that but by then I'd moved most of the snow away and well there was a distrinct smell of rubber in the air! hehehe So was best to stop at that point!

This is what the wheelarches looked like:

nice...

my wheel arches look like that too, only dirty brown.

also got about 3 inches of ice clinging to the sill from front wheels to back wheels.

guess i'm just going to have to drive faster!

Mike

It is funny how those centre caps refuse to change colour with the wheels! Mine is the same.
