2011 Skoda Yeti Facelift

Silver,

try a trick like this again and you will need a surgeon to remove something VERY painful from where the sun doesn't shine!! :giggle:

It's the long awaited three door version ;)

Love the Niva - they can take anything.

LOL! Comes with steel wheels as standard, and those tyres look useful too..............

But why are the wheels grey on one side and green on the other?!

Still no sign of a sunroof though.

Fitted by two different blokes, one on each side of the trolley jacks... err, I mean production line!

Or virtually everything else that's fitted to a Yeti, including comfortable seats!!! :giggle:

I keep waiting for news of a larger booted Yeti and was starting to get excited when I clicked onto this link. Doh! I am far too easily drawn in.

im awaiting a 7 seat yeti...with split rear door, and spare wheel on rear.....side steps, bull bars and........

Bull Bars - Now that is a blast from the past, very 80's.

Seems Skoda is playing it safe and has kept the looks remarkably similar to the current model.

At £9,995 on the road it's now two for the price of one :giggle:

love the retro look

Graham, are you selling tickets for the event?

2, front row centre please :giggle:

How are they getting around the fact that you are not allowed to sell cars in the EU sans ABS? I thought ABS was now mandatory on all new cars sold in the EU?

Dunno, do they get away with it because they sell fewer than a certain number per annum?

Some limited production cars are exempt eg Caterham/Westfield, although the Niva can't possibly be referred to as limited production.

Incidentally, all the press photos so far have shown Left Hand Drive cars. Are they not going to build 'em RHD this time?

Ah I guess they get around it that way then...

The article does state LHD only...

It's not as if you're going to need to see whether it's safe to overtake very often.

Meanwhile, remembering how the Yeti launched with a cuddly fluffy white snow monster, I wonder whether the Niva will come with a shirtless Vladimir Putin Action Man.
