Every time I switch the ignition off I get s message saying "check SAFE locking, read owners manual' I have read the manual but still none the wiser any help would be greatly appreciated!

Picked up our VRS last weekend and our car comes up the same. Manual doesn't make much sense of the message.

I have read the manual as well & from what I can see it means the following:-

Anti - hijacking is active, all doors & boot will lock once you exceed approx 15mph, also when stopped once the key is removed from the ignition all doors & boot will then be unlocked.

If you want to disable this, then it can be done by your local dealer.( or maybe even from your MFD - i'm still trying to work this out)

It's just the car telling you that the car will be SAFE locked / dead locked when you lock it, and the SAFE locking makes it impossible to get out of the car if there are people sitting in it when you lock the doors.
