clutch adjustment

As a "Newbie" to both Skoda and Briskoda you'll forgive my ignorance I hope!

I've just (25-1-11) picked up my Fabia VRS (Mickey) from City Skoda in Basingstoke.He's a red,2006 with 31,000 on the clock.

So far very impressed and pleased.

Now im getting to "personelise" Mickey for me is that the clutch seems to be a little fierce sometimes.

Is this just a case of me gettng the feel of Mickey(previous car a Pug 107,drove itself really) or is it possible to adjust the clutch or worse case is it a problem?
