Unfortunately yes. The stubby aerial was the first thing to go on the car before I even drove out of the dealers. But driving long distance the reception was poor so out came the Crystal Palace tower again.

Remember to take plenty of pics when you do the front indicators!!! :giggle:

I fitted the same 'silver indicator' lights to mine today; sets off the rear light cluster nicely.

Then just the other day I fitted my Rally style mudflaps;-

And cunningly camoflaged as a sleeping Christmas tree.... emoticon-0105-wink.gif

Bahnstormer - I do like those flaps - wherever did they come from?

And Johann, like Bahnstormer, I love that sticker - does it steal your thunder too much to reveal the source?

I am feeling really lazy - you guys doing all that stuff to your Yeti's - I feel as if I am neglecting mine!

Rally flaps are 2011 MSA spec 4mm plastic mudflaps (plain rectangular sheet) from Demon Tweeks, cut to size, pop riveted to the OE flaps and then fitted.

Thanks - it does look a great job, no doubt. And it will help to keep things much cleaner than the token Skoda ones , I'm sure - I feel some work coming on...

Guys I have no issues with the entire SMOC getting the same sticker and T-shirts as our official going out dress/logo! I had my T-shirt on yesterday as well but alas it was too cold to show it!

The sticker can be found here: http://www.cafepress.co.uk/+big_foot_crossing_oval_sticker,185412176 I just cut it out of the oval surround with scissors.

Thanks very much for sharing your valuable IP Johann - I must get a sticker - so niceemoticon-0100-smile.gif

I like the chrome cupholder surround, where did you get that from?

I bought them from Superskoda but Milotec.de also sell them.

Just wondering Bahnstormer, would those Rally Style Flaps fit on their own without the Skoda mudflaps, the reason I am asking is because firstly they look brilliant, and secondly I am due to fit the wheelarches, but also want some kind of mudflaps. Thanks!

If you go to Ikea they are currently selling some flexible cutting boards of this size in slightly thinner but the same material. Now you could Buy 2 packs of the 4, keep 2 for yourself and give the others to the wife as a present. B)

They are a lot cheaper than the Demon Tweeks ones to experiment with!! :giggle:

I guess you are talking about these? http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/90131935

2mm in oppose to 4mm, so may flap more, but great idea, might hope into Newcastle tomorrow. Thanks Llanigraham

I dare say they might although they will not, perhaps, be quite as secure as OE flaps as they, the OE flaps, have a couple of moulded bits that clip into the wheelarch.

OE flaps are mainly secured by the 3 or 4 screws that hold the wheelarch liners in place; I guess it would not be too difficult to cut a 'flap' to size/shape and fit is directly on.

Worth investigating, I'd say.
