Help need for friend with the ESP Problem

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have a friend with a Octavia 4x4 who has the dreaded ESP problem is looking to get it fixed. Is anyone aware of an independent in the Gloucestershire/West midlands area that can do this for a reasonable price?

He has been quoted £395 + vat. by these guys in Greenwich, but we are not sure about the solution they describe and its a bit of a long way to go.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Jim

How much was it? Presume that its also difficult to fit and hence the quotes i have seen in the 1k region from main dealers?

Have they contacted A dealer at all? Might be with checking to see if there is a goodwill gesture.

£580 including vat and delivery. Will get £100 back when I return my old one to them. I know a manager at a local garage.emoticon-0105-wink.gifemoticon-0105-wink.gif

I've got the problem and Skoda don't want to know even though the car has FSH. It sucks and I won't be buying a Skoda again.I've had a mobile mechanic take my ABS Module off my car today. It took about about an hour. I'm sending mine off to these guys. It's going to cost me £350 + VAT but comes back with 2 years warranty. The mobile mechanic is coming back to fit the unit for me.Good luck with getting yours sorted.CheersMark
