Great news for people facing a long wait for their Yeti

Featured Replies

Seems Skoda have taken the lead from Nissan in looking after customers with longer than expected waits for their cars.

Interesting what the Head of Skoda says too about the reason for the long waits.

Thanks for the interesting link

Be useful a loan car; wearing to many shoes out

But seriously yes the lack of my new Monster is beginning to effect particularly my sons gracefully ageing Fabia I, as she's come due a service on distance rather than time as is the norm :( However a drawback would be collecting such a loan car being 240 miles from the dealer :wonder: Therefore in my case a decent financial compensation package might be nice

Oh as a matter of interest, this week was the second build week given before my order was dumped 2 months further back down the queue :S

TP

This sounds very useful. When I bought my Octy, I ordered it in December 2005 and took delivery in March 2006. The dealer honoured the agreed part-exchange price for my Golf, but as it was over 7 years old by then I suppose its value wasn't sliding much. He only asked that I didn't take it over 80,000 miles!

So if I order a Yeti in April - for delivery by October? - I wonder what car they will lend me to replace my Octy? And will I be able to take it abroad for a holiday I have booked in July?
