Sorry I forgot it was this weekend - I'm at a mates birthday thing and we're going for a carvery at Seal Chart at lunchtime. If anyone's still around at the Grasshopper in the afternoon we might pop over.

Simon I noticed your comment about the car, you cheeky git! Surely I get in as a previous VRS owner :)

OK, it's raining at the moment :( but it's still going ahead as planned  I was unable to book any tables because I was unable to say how many people would turn up! Parking will be fine as the car park is very big. I was going to sugest people turn up about 1pm onwards. Just to let you all know that food & drinks will have to be paid for by yourselves. Also beer has gone up in price. A pint of Becks is £4 cheapest is Fosters at £3.75. I hope people will turn up to it as I'll be there from 1PM.

My car is a red Skoda Octavia Vrs, I just hope it's sunshine and not rain! See you all there!

Followed by a black mk1 fabia vrs

And my Chav mobile!

Only joking about the non vRS element as those of you who know me will realise.

I seem to remember there's some big tree trunks in the car park we could utilise............

Do they do any non Euro Fizz?

I seem do remember they did some decent beers before? Should do as the 'Westerham Brewery' is rather near!

Is she still in 4x4 mode?

Apologies for absence.

One never knows what the future holds.

For my next door neighbour, it involved a life changing accident.

Didn't get in till this morning & am only just avaialable now at 3.30pm.

Hope you guys didn't get too wet?

Thanks for those that turned up to the local meet. Mary & I realy enjoyed it a lot. I will look into doing another meet possibly a Christmas one. I will shop arround for a decent pub we could all go to that's not too expensive and not too far. I did have the pub called The Hop House in mind on the industrial Estate in Tunbridge Wells in Kent where the ODEON Cinema is. They have special meal deals where you buy 2 meals for £10! It's just a thought for now but it could be the perfect place to go as it's a large pub, very easy parking and very near to the A21. I will keep people updated nearer the time.

It was about the same time getting home going down to the M25 godstone turn on, but that was mainly due to the volume of traffic from there to the M26, would have been quicker.

I found that from Godstone to the Kent meet turn off is approx 35 mins, without the heavy traffic.
