vRS Turbo Problem.

Featured Replies

Hi.

I have a 2005 model skoda fabia VRS.

the problem of constantly living in my vehicle turbo

Which turbo can not even remember the last-mounted turbo.

The most recent pd160 turbo was mounted

made an average of 5000 km in the fault

turbo repair and 10000 km later, after I had failed again.

but I think now the problem is not turbo.

I do not think that wearing probel place.

I do not think that the repair of the turbo problem.

Custom software was intact before the first turbo car and the first turbo is broken, then re-installed the original software.

then re-install the original software turbo problem continued.

Before this most recent failure was the original vehicle and re-confirmed that I had control software.

I do not think this is a problem with the software.

What do you think of this turbo can be a source of failures?

I'm sorry for the bad English is. Waiting for your help and wish you good day.

Hi Ausch, I'd like to try and help but I can't understand exactly what the problem is?

Has the turbo has broken once, then been fixed and broken again. Is this right?

What is the problem? -

Noisy turbo?

Lack of boost?

Lack of power?

Sounds like it has had issues due to mapping (software.)

As with any turbo that is not functioning properly, checks are, fault scan with VAGCOM to see if there are any fault codes, relating to over boost.

Then N75 control test. VNT actuator test with vacuum pump. Boost control sensor on inter cooler, all pipework.

yes, yes, going down or get a new one or repair the fault is, and 5k-10k miles is again going down the turbo. propeller shaft that is breaking or falling apart.

We have received a new one soon after the room is broken at the first failure. Repair was broken again later broke down again after the warranty was changed again, this is going broke, etc., etc. just can not remember the number.

and now I'm scared to install the new turbo-away vehicle.

If the car is constantly destroying turbos, due to shaft failure, it has a severe over boost problem.

Make sure software installed, is not giving too high boost (max 1.3 BAR)

Replace vacuum control unit (includes N75 control valve)

Replace boost control sensor on inter-cooler.

Make sure BOTH oil lines to turbo are replaced when new turbo fitted.

Check exhaust system is not blocked (old turbo parts)
