Hi all,

Been sort of planning this for ages but have been watching a meet in the North East to see if it happened or not before I decided to post this up.

I'm planning a Drive to Berwick from the Borders town of Hawick, coming back Via Duns, Melrose and finishing up in Selkirk, I have already got intrest from Sharkrider, ChrisW from the North West Section, I thought about meeting in Hawick so that the North West guys can meet up, then cross country throughthe Borders in Berwick where we can stop for Lunch, if the weather is anything like it has been the last few days then it should be a cracker.

Planning on meeting at Morrison's in Hawick on Mart Street just off the A7 as you come into Hawick at about 10.30 to 10.45 before heading on the drive at 11am and stopping for Lunch at Berwick at say 12.30 before heading to Duns, Melrose and ending up in Selkirk.

I know it is short notice but if you are free that day then add your name to the list, I'm also going to post this in the North West Region and North East Region and see if we can rally some more people along, maybe meet up with the North East peeps in Berwick.

Would be good, but I've got a 'Highland Drive' through Glencoe and Skye in the early hours so I can catch the 9:40am ferry from Uig that day, so I can get home for the Easter break

No worries mate, I knew it was a bit of a rush organised meet that some people could not make it as it's a replacement for a Meet in the North East for people who were going to be driving that day.

I'm now unable to make this due to lack of money for fuel :(

Sorry to have to say but I won't be able to make it either, gutted, looks a nice route too. Tried to shift a few things around to be able to make it but hasn't been possible. Have fun guys.

Only thing I'm wondering is google is suggesting the A7 instead of the A68 is this ok or is the A7 best avoided?
