Nice work. Looks great

thanks rob also found one of the crank case pipes burst under manifold so that will need to be sorted

Looks nice, good job

Personally I would of not used the speed clips and just used the self tappers. If you get the lip caught it will rip half you bumper off rather than just pull the screws out. I have lost mine twice now. Also but picky perhaps you could of removed a bit of the centre 2 plastic posts to make the lip spoiler sit more level in the centre.looks lightly curved downwards. Sorry picky i know .....

IMHO you need a leather lid for the armrest instead of the cloth one.

However, a cloth armrest is better than none at all

Looking tidy.

Was thinking of a lcr splitter on my vrs just don’t think it would look as good on a black car.

i did take some of the center bits off but dident see that it wasnt sitting totaly flush untill i fitted the bumper back on lol . I know going to end up with a dozan small square holes in my bumper but once the 18" rims go on it should lift it up a bit they bumper needs replaced any way with the damage from the previous owner

yeah i tryed to get the leather one but this is all i could manage as they dont make them any more still i will eventually get it sorted the arm rest makes some diffrence to the way i drive dont seem to be as aggressive cause i am just sitting back with my arm up.

so many plans

next is new crank case breather and thermostat, black carpet, r 32 steering wheel which i just need to go swap with mine on another car . clutch and a 6 speed box depending on what i need to fit the 6 speed havent really looked into it , intercooler , de cat, an intake that u dont have an oil cleanded filter infront of my afm . n75 change for another verson .n249 and 2ndry air system removal just like robs, r 32 anti roll bars r 32 wheels , the wee black trims in between the windows , set of hid lights

the list is on going hahah

the wee black trims in between the windows

Good luck with sourcing them as they are no longer made. There are some hatch kits doing the rounds, but nothing for an estate.... or are you going DIY?

Better add on some Golf mk4 aero wipers too

lol i just gave the part number to my mate who is the parts manaager at a vw dealership n he seems to think he can get them

thanks John

i really like them :) think i will order a set of them lol

Looks very tidy, Ah the benefits of being a mechanic, working on your own car with all the right tools and ramps etc. I'd love to have a propper garage with that stuff in. Possibilities for modding and maintenance to the car are endless other then the money side of things :giggle:

bowders is right, the splitter is the weakest link, better that rip off than your whole bumper, i had self tappers on mine, and it got ripped off a few times, but rather that than mess the bumper up

looks nice

quick question your tailpipe sits really high did you do that or is that where its meant to sit coz mine sits a lot lower then that
