I've come to the conclusion it's pre-senile dementia on my part. Been searching the interweb high and low for a piccie that looks like what I remember with no joy. Maybe it was a 'one off' custom paint job I saw at a car show or in a magazine that has somehow wedged in my memory. I'm sure what I remember was a black Capri, with orange detailing. A bit like the gold on a JPS Capri, but bolder rather than pinstriped, and orange alloy wheels. Hey ho,, Mrs Bobdog has called the men in white coats, and it looks like it's off to the funny farm for me!
